4. Writing up your Literature Review / Essay
Although you may start by reading papers e.g. by focusing on Pryor et al., (2016) you will then start to read across papers, related topic areas. From here you will start to synthesise the material, including where appropriate critiques of areas – to come up with a coherent argument to address the literature review topic. You may use simple examples to illustrate your main ideas if you wish. To further demonstrate your academic skills you may finish by drawing up a figure/framework to illustrate your overall address of the topic.
