Bullying

GUIDELINES:

You will thoroughly discuss a global conflict/problem and work collectively to propose a solution. You have already selected your topic. You will present your findings and make use of academic research. Make sure you use credible sources only.

This will be an informative speech. I am looking that you present the problem, establish a goal and then provide a solution.

Present the problem: What is the problem? Discuss the problem and why is this problem important or relevant. Who does the problem affect?
Establish a goal: What is the goal that you want to accomplish. Discuss why there has to be a change/solution. What will happen if we don’t accomplish the goal? For example: “We want to lower the national debt. Otherwise, the national debt will continue to increase and we will never get ourselves out of debt.”
Provide a Solution: Provide the solution that you advocate is the most appropriate one to solve the problem. For Example: “We need to raise taxes to lower the national debt.”

A good tool for you all to use is Monroe’s Motivated Sequence found on chapter 24 – Structuring Your Persuasive Speech. This strategy is based on the problem-solution pattern and provides five steps (Attention, Need, Satisfaction, Visualization, and Action) to point your audience toward the specific change/solution you want them to adopt.

Within the time limit/length (15-20 minutes) of speech, I want you all to take a few minutes to reflect upon and discuss the overall group experience.

The written speech itself (just the written part) should between 4 to 5 pages long. I need to see it doubled-spaced, I also need to see a title page, outline, and references. Everything should be in APA format.
