Introduction

Project scope

[Define the aims and objectives of the project and outline what the major deliverables and quality standards of/for the project will be. List the quality standards required for client acceptance of each deliverable in table format. Indicate how quality standards will be measured/assessed where possible in your table. Ensure you describe assumptions and any known exclusions from the project scope. This section should be two to three paragraphs in length and include the aforementioned table. Business case

[Outline the business need that the project addresses. Why is the project needed? Justify the project. Describe at least three expected benefits in a table format – including current status and measures/process for assessing benefit realisation. You must also note at least two expected dis-benefits – projected negative outcomes of the project (e.g. reduced productivity). Better solutions will have six or more benefits and four or more dis-benefits. This section should be two to three paragraphs in length]

Project Schedule and Approach (Rollout strategy)

[Describe (using general terms/business language that can be easily understood by the client) how the project will be conducted, what the major phases of the project are, what they entail and how long each phase, and the entire project, will take. This section should be two to three paragraphs in length and include the aforementioned schedule and a table presentation of high-level tasks and milestones.]

[Include a risk register that highlights at least five risks that may impact the project. Better solutions will present eight or more risk entries.
