Please answer the three essay type questions. Each question is based on current events and how the events relate to topics covered in this class.
Current events shape or change the geographic aspects of regions. Find three current event articles (no older than 6 months) in the news related to topics covered in class such as geography, pollution, or the benefits of living in another country for example paid leave. Briefly summarize each article in your own words and include the URL (web address) as well as the date of your findings. Then discuss how the current event of the article is affecting any aspects of the regional environment, its cultural, political and socioeconomic systems.
Your answer to each question should be no less than 200 words. (10 points per question including your summary and discussion = 30 points)

1) Use trusted and reliable resources for quality news coverage (read articles listed above).
2) Do not plagiarize (summarize each article in your own words). Your three summaries don’t need to be comprehensive – present only what the reader needs to know to understand the main ideas/issues covered in each article.
3) Your own discussion related to each article should be the bulk of the paper.
