Order Description
In this essay students are required to address the broad question: What role do leaders play in shaping events and directions? Do leaders really matter in politics? The question must be addressed by examining leadership from one of the perspectives discussed in the course and by illustrating the main points of the discussion with examples of at least two leaders.
Leaders choice: leaders should be political, preferably politicians, heads of significant institutions or political activists: PMs or Presidents or Queens, Kings, revolutionaries, religious leaders and leaders of organisations such as the UN. Leaders do not have to be from same culture, same gender etc. but having said this, there should be some link or a connection between them (or more than one) apart from the fact that they are both leaders. Moreover, this connection should be relevant to the focused argument you are making. In many ways the connection(s) will make the argument. The broad argument is the answer to the questions above.
How many leaders? Three at the most, two is the minimum.
The question must be addressed by examining leadership from one of the perspectives discussed in the course.
