Psychology

3) Annotated Bibliography: Based on your personal interest you will select a psychological topic to explore and study. From your exploration, you will create an annotated bibliography of at least 20 scholarly sources pertaining to your topic. The sources should include books, journal articles, Web sites, documentaries, YouTube clips, movies, or any other source that is considered scholarly. It should NOT include only sources from Internet websites; a good annotated bibliography lists many different types of sources.

Furthermore, an annotated bibliography consists of several important informational items; the author’s name, the title of the reference, the publication date and source/publisher; in addition, you will include at least three sentences for each source that explains what the source was about, its relevance and conclusions. This detailed information is what distinguishes an annotated bibliography from a reference list or a list of works cited. Like a reference list, an annotated bibliography is alphabetized according to the last name of the lead author of the source.
