A Perfect Church
As mentioned in the PowerPoint Lecture on the topic, Avery Dulles said in later years that the point of writing Models of the Church was not to provide exclusive models from which people could choose to model the church “they wanted.” The different models each possessed characteristics necessary for any real understanding of a truly Christian church. You have already written about the model you find most appealing. Now you are to choose the two models you find least appealing and write about how what you find challenging within them is in actuality necessary for a church to be truly Christian. Read at least three other resources and include a bibliography with your paper.
