What is a Harvard Style paper?

Harvard Style paper refers to an academic essay that is cited following the Harvard system. Students should always cite all the material that they make use of or any sources used and ensure that they acknowledge their sources in the paper itself every time a fact, a conclusion, an idea or an observation from someone else’s paper is made use of. This serves to add credibility to your work and to make sure that the people whom you cite are acknowledged. Harvard Writing system requires that there be an in-text citation for every time an idea is used in the body of the paper and that the sources are all listed in a references page at the end of the Harvard style paper. The in-text citation needs to have the author’s surname, the year of publication and sometimes the page number. Secondary citations in the Harvard style paper should also be included.
