Long Term Career Objective

My long-run objective is to achieve a senior managerial position in a large multinational corporation that markets, or preferably manufactures, commodities. One of my highest aspirations is to be one of those who establishes, or significantly advances, such a corporation. Therefore, I intend to develop within the scope of one firm. I believe that on my way to achieve my goal I will express my talents and interests and contribute to society’s prosperity.

Short Term Career Objectives

Looking ten years back, I view my interdisciplinary experience in Finance, army service, political and public positions, and traveling as a part of the solid background that can generate a successful senior manager in a multinational Finance corporation. To complete my preparation process, my short-term objectives are:

  • To acquire quality general academic education in finance while also mastering the English language.
  • To develop within the scope of one firm.

I wish to say, sincerely, that in my opinion Robinson College of Business will fulfill my first short-run objective optimally. Robinson College of Business has the qualities that best fit my expectations, objective, and background. The more I hear and read about Robinson College of Business  – the more I feel I belong there; it is considered the best school in the world for developing general management skills and acquiring management tools in the marketing and consumption areas. Graduates gain excellent placement services and leading positions. Robinson College of Business has no competitors in academic level and in world-wide fame (I learned that from talking to people in other countries).

I am especially interested in studying the unique economic needs of emerging markets, which would affect the future demand and Robinson School of Business will bring me one giant step closer to achieving it.

I hope to grow within my organization and become involved in the financial management of the firm, eventually reaching the position of CFO. In this role, I will be called upon to set the financial agenda of the bank, determining policy and deciding which industries to get involved in. I will be required to successfully manage dozens of people, having to motivate and guide them toward executing our strategy. Yet my aspirations do not stop there.

Upon completing my MBA course, I hope to work as a financial consultant in a leading investment bank. After gaining expertise in capital and equity finance, and acquiring leadership experience, my dream is to man senior positions in the public financial sector. I was raised on values such as actively contributing to my country’s security and future.

Upon graduation I wish to lead one of the greatest and world known financial operations of firms striving to promote myself within the organization, I also wish on making an uplift in the economy that will make me known to the world and advance my status in the society and I believe in Robinson School of Business I can achieve it because it is ranked to be one of the most innovating institution world wide

To succeed as a financial consultant however, I will need to acquire skills in analyzing capital markets and quantitatively evaluating investment possibilities. An MBA from a program which combines a rigorous grounding in quantitative analytical tools will give me these skills.

In conclusion, I believe that studying at Robinson College of Business will be a great experience. Moreover, it will provide the optimal accomplishment for my first short-term objective, as well as a significant advancement towards achieving my long-term goal.
